Sustainable Kids Market 2024: A Celebration of Giving and Change
On May 25-26, 2024, Marina Square buzzed with energy as the Sustainable Kids Market, presented by Peace of Art, unfolded. This inspiring event brought together people from across Singapore, all driven by a shared passion for sustainability and a mission to support underprivileged children.

More than just a marketplace, the event celebrated community spirit and creativity. Young entrepreneurs, known as KIDSforKIDS-preneurs, proudly displayed their sustainable products, led hands-on workshops, and donated their artwork for charity. These young changemakers embodied the spirit of generosity, using their talents to make a difference in the lives of their peers.

The funds raised from the event directly supported vulnerable children living in public rental flats. Through the Young Hearts program by the Singapore Red Cross, these proceeds provide much-needed education, enrichment, and mentorship opportunities, helping to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty and offer these children hope for a brighter future.

I was honored to contribute six of my artworks to the auction in support of this meaningful cause. It was a privilege to be part of an event that not only championed sustainable living but also made a real, tangible impact on the lives of underprivileged children.

Tropical Tranquility
'Tropical Tranquility' paints a vivid picture of lush mountain slopes and sunlit valleys in Bali's Munduk region. Its vibrant greens, golden hues, and hints of yellow and turquoise evoke the fragile beauty of nature. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this artwork serves as a call to action for sustainability. It invites viewers to reflect on the importance of preserving tropical ecosystems and supporting eco-friendly practices.
